You’re walking down the street near your office when you notice a lone musician.
While she’s certainly playing some beautiful music, it still doesn’t compare to the sounds of the last time you saw your favorite band play. Because though each individual can make music alone, it just can’t compare to the synergistic effect of a band or orchestra.
With Owler, you get all kinds of great features as a soloist. From custom news, to real-time updates, to oh-so-much more. But like any musical ensemble, using Owler as a group helps you stay in tune and in sync, enhancing your overall performance.
That’s exactly why we’re making Owler more team-oriented than ever. Now, when more of your team members join Owler, you get more out of your experience.
And this upleveled experience doesn’t just come from a more informed team (though Owler does help inform your entire team), but because we’re actually able to deliver even more personalized news and insights based on what your team cares about.
Your Owler experience is now even better.
Get recommended reading in your Daily Snapshot.
Now, your Daily Snapshot shows you exactly how many of your fellow team members read any given article, so you can see which articles are popular with your coworkers and stay up to date all the articles that matter to your team. We also show what your competitors are reading, as well as stories that are popular within the wider Owler Community. It’s easier than ever to be on the ball and stay in the loop.
Understand the sentiment from your colleagues.
Now, in addition to our existing Opinion Polls, we’ve introduced new questions specifically geared toward your company. This way, you can understand how your teammates perceive various aspects of your company — from culture, to compensation, to branding, to diversity. We show you sentiment scores from within your organization, so you can gauge the internal perception.
See sentiment scores grouped into categories.
Your sentiment scores were always just one piece of your company puzzle. But now, we’re helping you fit those pieces together by rolling them up into 10 digestible summary scores/categories. These new categories include: Growth, Financial Health, Leadership Quality, Trust Score, Diversity Score, Employee Satisfaction, Innovation Score, Marketing Performance, Brand Quality, and Social Consciousness. For instance, when you answer a question about whether a company offers fair compensation, it’ll contribute to that company’s Employee Satisfaction Score.
Follow a portfolio of companies recommended by your team.
Now you can easily discover recommended companies to follow based on what’s trending with your teammates. This keeps you up to speed on competitors, prospects, partners, and vendors that may not have been on your radar. Best of all, the numbers display in real time — so you’ll always be able to uncover the newest companies that your team members are following. If you’re using a verified company email address, this will be the first page you see when you navigate to owler.com. You can also find this page by navigating to the menu in the top right, and clicking on “my portfolio.”
Easily share Owler with your teammates.
Invite your colleagues to Owler by copy-pasting your team URL —www.yourcompanyname.owler.com — and sharing it via: Slack, email, internal wiki, Salesforce Chatter, etc. You can easily find your custom URL when you navigate to www.owler.com. Just click “invite more” link in the right-hand corner beneath the search bar, copy the link to your clipboard, and you’re all ready to share your wealth of Owler knowledge with your team.
Share your portfolio with your team.
Your Owler company portfolio houses the full list of companies you care about and follow on Owler. Now, you can turn your personal portfolio into a group effort: you have the option to share it with your team. Just click “share this custom portfolio” at the upper right-hand side on your portfolio page, and we’ll generate a link that you can copy, paste, and send along to your colleagues. If they’re already on Owler, we’ll automatically import those companies into their portfolios. And if they’re new users, their Owler experience will start with your follow list. So if, for instance, you’re a sales manager who has built out a top-notch list of prospects and customers, you’ll be able to share that list with your entire sales team.
And this is just the start of a new, team-centric Owler. We’ve got oh-so-much more for you to be excited about coming down the pipe, so stay tuned for more team-oriented features on Owler!
